Edwina Smallwood is an Economist at the Department of Transportation (DOT) - Federal Transit Administration (FTA). She works on developing and drafting economic analysis on proposed regulatory actions, manages research projects, assists in the preparation and drafting of congressionally mandated reports to Congress, and provides support and technical assistance on policy and economic matters related to transit. Edwina is a 2016 Presidential Management Fellow (PMF). During her time as a PMF, she worked at the Department of Justice, detailed at the Department of Energy - Energy Information Administration, and now works at FTA. Edwina is a four-time graduate of George Mason University. She holds a Bachelor's in Economics, a Master's in Public Policy with a concentration in Regional Economic Development, a Master's in Business Administration, and a Graduate Certificate in Business Analytics. During her free time, Edwina enjoys spending time with family and friends, sightseeing, cooking, traveling, reading, collecting comic books, and expanding her knowledge base.
