Jeremy Mayer, the director of the program, teaches courses in American foreign policy, media politics and policies, national policy systems, introduction to public policy, and statistics.

Jo-Marie Burt, with years of experience working for human rights organizations,  researches state violence, human rights, and transitional justice; social movements and revolutions; and state-society relations in Latin America. 

Ahsan Butt specializes in ethnicity and nationalism, security, international relations theory, and South Asia.

Robert Dudley's research areas include American elections and judicial behavior.

Colin Dueck researches the relationship between party politics, presidential leadership, American conservatism, and U.S. foreign policy strategies.

David M. Hart has two overlapping areas of specialization: technology, science, and innovation policy; and governance at the regional, national, and global levels.

Mark Katz is an expert on Europe, Russian foreign policy, international relations, transnational revolutionary moments, and the War on Terror.

Mariely Lopez-Santana, teaches, and researches comparative welfare states and social policy, comparative federalism, and European Union Politics and Europeanization.

Peter Mandaville, a current Senior Fellow at the Brookings Institution and an advisor at the U.S. Department of State, focuses in democratization, foreign policy, international relations, the Middle East, Political Islam, and emerging powers and world order.

Eric McGlinchey, teaches and researches on comparative politics, democratization, international relations, international development, and international security policy.

James Pfiffner is an expert in the U.S. Presidency, American national government, and public management.

Priscilla Regan is an expert on communication and information technology and policy, information and communication privacy policy, digital government, and public administration.

Mark J. Rozell, Dean of the Schar School, is an expert on U.S. government and politics including the presidency, religion and politics, media and politics, and interest groups in elections.

Matthew Scherer teaches courses in modern political theory, contemporary political theory, and constitutional law. His research interests focus on the intersection of religion and politics with emphases on the politics of modern secularism, and on political theologies.

Jennifer Victor is an expert in legislative politics, particularly the U.S. Congress. She also researches U.S. politics and institutions, and social networks.

Ming Wan is an expert in international relations, Sino-Japanese relations, and the political economy of South Asia.
