Dan Duckwitz is a Deputy for Small Business at Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) Headquarters. Dan supports the health of the defense industrial base through innovative outreach to industry, maturing small business analytics, and fostering collaboration and high velocity learning at headquarters and the field. He has worked as a small business professional since 2014. Before joining NAVSEA in 2019, Dan worked at the Defense Health Agency, first as a financial management analyst and then as a small business analyst. He is a veteran of the US Army Reserve serving as a financial management technician with deployments in the Iraq and Afghanistan campaigns.  Dan holds a Master of Public Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in Government & International Politics with a minor in Economics from George Mason University.  Dan enjoys spending time with his dog Dapper, supporting DC United, playing Call of Duty, and running slowly.
