Terry McAuliffe is back! Former Virginia governor Terry McAuliffe (D) returned to the Schar School classroom in late October, debuting at Associate Professor Justin Gest’s Immigration Policy and Politics class at Mason Square in Arlington, Virginia. McAuliffe discussed the state of U.S. immigration policy, the role of states in immigration governance, and the prospects for the 2022 midterm elections. McAuliffe was a Distinguished Visiting Professor at the Schar School from 2018 to 2020 when he stepped down after declaring his candidacy for governor.
